CCID is a global network of community, technical, and vocational institutions dedicated to creating globally engaged learning environments. Members engage within the network to improve practices, participate in learning communities, and collaborate to advance global opportunities at the college level.



    IAU, founded in 1950, is the UNESCO-based worldwide association of higher education institutions. It brings together institutions and organisations from some 120 countries for reflection and action on common concerns and collaborates with various international, regional and national bodies active in higher education. Its services are available on the priority basis to Members but also to organisations, institutions and authorities concerned with higher education, as well as to individual policy and decision-makers, specialists, administrators, teachers, researchers and students.



    The basic aim of Caucasus University Association is to benefit from the common heritage the neighboring countries have in Caucasian geography and to determine a vision that will help to illuminate the future in addition to the present common academic works which have been done in various areas such as language, culture, history, art, economy, and education. From this point of view, the following objectives have been determined;

• Building up an intercultural dialog considering the geopolitical importance of the region,

• Organizing collaborative symposiums and seminars,

• Organizing collaborative cultural, artistic and sportive activities,

• Preparing the program for the temporary exchange of academicians (Mevlana Exchange Programme),

• Preparing the program for the temporary exchange of students (Mevlana Exchange Programme),

• Translation of scientific and literary works in the region,

• Collection and publication of endangered folkloric products through common projects,

• Conducting mutual accreditation programmes,

• Initiating common diploma programmes,

• Founding language schools,

• Conducting collaborative research projects about the materialistic and spiritual richness of the region and organizing international symposiums.



     Launched by Istanbul Aydin University in 2008, EURAS is the Union of Eurasian Universities and higher education institutions. EURAS is a no-profit international association, promoting cooperation among over 80 Universities from all around Europe, Asia and the Middle East and working for the global advancement of educational standards in the Eurasian region. Being the cradle of all known civilizations and having the 2/3 of all the world population, the Eurasian region thus represents a center of excellence in terms of educational developments and cultural flows. By building an international educational platform for regional universities, EURAS serves its members as a bridge to reach the best educational services wordwide. EURAS connects universities and higher education institutions belonging to different geo-political and cultural backgrounds and seeks ways to enhance their dialogue and exchange of best practices.



    Based on the common history, culture and language, with the aim of developing friendship and cooperation among Turkic speaking peoples and raising the level of education in order to ensure cooperation between higher education institutions of the Member States, the following objectives are to be realized:

a) Having courses of common civilization, through the implementation of appropriate educational standards with modern scientific level in all member universities, and thus educating generations with a common identity and cultural awareness;

b) Synchronizing higher education programs in compliance with the international accreditation standards;

c) Establishing and implementing training programs for academic staff;

d) Encouraging exchange of students and academic staff and making the necessary adjustments thereto;

e) Forming a common credit transfer system;

f) Ensuring recognition of higher education programs among the member universities and providing an appropriate basis for the recognition of each other’s certification equivalence of the member universities;

g) Benefiting from comparative superiorities of universities in certain areas;

h) Implementing applicable cooperative education and research projects and programs, and making publications in this field;

i) Cooperating in social and cultural fields;

j) Providing special scholarships for students who conduct studies on the Turkic world;

k) Ensuring information sharing about academic studies and projects on the Turkic world electronically, and transmitting addresses of the relevant studies carried out by universities to the Secretariat website to provide them with a link on the Turkic Council website;

l) Establishing an indepndent “Quality Assurance Board of the Turkic Council” to serve for the quality assurance of external evaluation and accreditation processes of the member universities of the Union and supporting its activities. 



    The Europe Business Assembly (EBA) is an independent corporation of economic, social and humanitarian collaboration, founded in Oxford, UK in 2000. EBA is an interactive platform for adapting European economic programs to the standards of living in dynamically developing regions. It follows the directives of the European Union and EU programmes “Good-neighbourliness” and “Eastern partnership”. The main mission of the institutions and representative offices of EBA (and its strategic partners) is to form a positive image of the regions, companies and personalities in the European business community. EBA systematically holds global specialized forums, conferences and business meetings and efficiently uses other information resources. It uses this information to form a world register of efficient leading companies and regions for attractive investment. Business structures and dynamically developing regions are selected according to statistical data, recommendations of analytical, sociological, informational, advertising, rating and PR- agencies. The winners of international and national contests of professional achievements receive further consulting, marketing and legal support from the leading firms of Europe. 



     On September 20, 2013, Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University became a signatory of Magna Charta Universitatum in the prestigious Signing Ceremony organized at the Aula Magna Santa Lucia of the University of Bologna in Bologna, Italy. On this occasion, the Rector of manas University Prof. Dr. Sebahattin BALCI together with the Rectors of 23 other well-known universities in Europe and America signed this renowned document in the ceremony that coincided with the 25th anniversary of the signing of Magna Charta Universitatum. Written by European university Rectors and signed by 388 European universities in 1988, as of 2013, Magna Charta Universitatum has been signed by 755 higher education institutions around the world and is the primary reference supporting the fundamental principles of higher education with a particular focus on the principles of academic freedom and institutional autonomy set forth in this document. Signing the Magna Charta Universitatum signals that Manas University is a member of the global higher education community devoted to academic excellence and high quality delivery. At the same time, the Magna Charta Observatory was established in 2001 by the European University Association and the University of Bologna in order to keep the principles of academic freedom and institutional autonomy stipulated in the Magna Charta Universitatum at the forefront of higher education debates at institutional, national and international levels as well as to oversee the compliance with these principles by signatories.
